As the festive season approaches and thoughts turn to special gifts for friends and family, the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) has the perfect solution at annual Festive Gift Fayre, which this year, will be offering an eclectic mixture of unique handmade crafts making perfect presents to delight your friends and family.
Open from Saturday 26th November between 10am-5pm and on Sunday 27th November between 10am-4pm, the BIC Festive Gift Fayre in the Solent Hall, promises to take the strain out of festive shopping with hundreds of gift ideas, live demonstrations, competitions and activities to keep everyone entertained and all under one roof!
Nearly 100 exhibitors will be displaying gift ideas ranging from card making kits to paintings, exquisite jewellery to leather handbags, handmade soaps to candles, scarves to luxurious body products, Christmas decorations to teddy bears and puppets, unique children’s clothing to framed vintage prints and even festive treats and yummy food like chutneys, puddings, cup cakes, fudge, liquorices and more!
Visitors will also be invited to indulge in their creative side and pick up top crafting tips or learn a new skill in the free workshop and demonstration zone. For the younger visitors, there will be complimentary face painting and festive glitter tattoos by Diamond Faces and amazing balloon twisting entertainment performed by Frank Dwan who will be making weird and wonderful balloon creations and giving them away afterwards. Children will also be invited to take part in the Fayre’s colouring competition in ‘colouring corner’.
And, if that’s not enough to tempt you, there will also be the chance to win family tickets to see this year’s Christmas Pantomime; Jack and the Beanstalk at the Bournemouth Pavilion starring CBeebies favourite Chris Jarvis as Simple Simon alongside Brian Capron from Coronation Street as nasty henchman Fleshcreep, Debra Stephenson from The Impressions Show as Jack and Kate Weston (from WAVE 105 FM) as The Good Fairy.
