Bournemouth goes beyond convention for Confex

The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is going ‘Beyond Convention’ at 2007 International Confex, following its most successful ever business year, a series of multi-award wins and a programme of new initiatives for conference and event organisers.

New websites will be launched at the show by the BIC and stand partners Bournemouth International Conference Bureau (BICB) and both are designed to provide organisers with rapid access to key information needed for planning events. 

The BIC website will include terms and conditions, a virtual venue tour together with technical information and specifications for each of the main auditoria,  The BICB site will allow online ‘live’ venue checking and booking as well as providing full details on the service that provides organisers with a free accommodation and venue selection service, all through a single point of contact.

Stand visitors will also have the chance to win a luxury weekend for two to one of the top Bournemouth hotels, together with tickets to a show from a top line up for 2007 at the BIC which has acts including Westlife, Girls Aloud, Riverdance, X-Factor, and even the USA’s famous Harlem Globetrotters.

Visitors to the stand will be able to pick up a copy of the latest BIC and BICB brochures and discuss specific requirements with members of the BIC and BICB teams.
