The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and Pavilion has launched a brand new website, which provides not only a sharp new look, but also easier navigation and improved information for both event organisers and leisure visitors.
The website has been several months in development, and is the result of close co-operation between the BIC and Christchurch-based Carrington Caunter Advertising & Marketing, who created the initial design concept.
The new portal-style homepage gives users the choice to visit pages devoted to Events & Ticketing, Organising an Event or BIC/Pavilion Information & News. From there, colour-coded sections and new drop-down menus take the user direct to the information they need with a minimal number of click-throughs.
Each of the BIC’s many conference and exhibition halls are featured in full, providing event organisers with detailed information on facilities, layouts and technical specifications, plus floor plans and photo galleries.
The new and improved Ticketing section means that buying a ticket to one of the BIC or Pavilion Theatre’s many shows and concerts has never been easier – you can even book for events at many other entertainment venues, via the BIC Ticket Shop pages. Those wishing to be kept in the loop about new events at the BIC and Pavilion can subscribe to a weekly email newsletter, which includes up-to-date information, competitions and special offers.
Managing Director of the BIC/Pavilion, Peter Gunn said: "The BIC and Pavilion have both benefited hugely from new and improved facilities, which has led to a significant increase in customer demand for our expanding programme of events. The new website will make it easier for our customers and potential clients to access information on all our services, book and pay for show tickets on-line, as well as being able to request detailed infromation on our venues and provide valuable feedback so that we can continue to improve our customer experience. It is an exciting time for the BIC and the Pavilion and this is another step forward in enhancing our service to residents, event organisers and visitors alike"
