The curtain rises again at the Pavilion Theatre in refurbished splendour, following its £750k makeover, when it re-opens on Thursday 1st March with the hit children’s show Scooby Doo.
The main auditorium boasts new carpets and flooring, plus all stalls seats have been upgraded, to include a revised layout.
The cloakrooms in the foyer have been completely replaced with the latest modern design whilst the balcony toilets have maintained all the English Heritage listed features.
The Foyer and part of the East and West corridors are now fully restored and decorated including all the original light fittings, door furniture, carpets, and resurfacing of all Terrazzo flooring.
A new Colour scheme extends throughout, based on recommendations by RHWL Architects and original archive samples – RHWL’s latest project was the London Coliseum now re-opened with much acclaim. The main entrance and lobby have also had a fresh new look putting the finishing touches to this long awaited and very welcome makeover.
