Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and the Pavilion

We've got the festive season all wrapped up at the BIC’s Christmas Gift Show 2010

With Christmas fast approaching, there's no need to panic about what gifts to get your family and friends, the Bournemouth International Centre's Christmas Gift Show - the perfect family event - has got the festive season all wrapped up for you. Open from Saturday 27th November between 10am-5pm and Sunday 28th November 2010 between 10am-4pm.

The Christmas Gift Show takes place in the BIC's Solent Hall and this year there will be even more gifts, live demonstrations, competitions and workshops for adults and children. Nearly 100 exhibitors will be displaying gift ideas ranging from card making kits to paintings, exquisite jewellery to leather handbags, handmade soaps to candles, Christmas decorations to teddybears and even festive treats like chutneys, cheese and puddings!

And there's plenty for children to do throughout the weekend whilst you shop 'til you drop with a free Children's Party Zone including Mr Merlin and Oakey Dokey the Dragon, a disco, party games and - new for 2010 - a Wii games zone! Plus a free Children's Activity Zone with Circus workshops and a colouring competition!  There will also be a free demonstration zone for adults including working with clay, painting with watercolour and acrylic paints, ceramics and jewellery making!

Louise Burridge, Exhibitions Project Manager at the BIC and Pavilion said: "Christmas will soon be here so what better than to pop down to our Christmas Gift Show and pick up some great gifts!   Get your family in the festive spirit at an event packed with gifts and activities all under one roof."

Visitors will also have the chance to win family tickets to see this year's Pantomime at the Pavilion - Cinderella - starring CBeebies favourite Chris Jarvis as Buttons alongside Amanda Barrie (Coronation Street & Bad Girls) as Fairy Godmother and Tom Owen (Last of the Summer Wine) as Baron Hardup.  So don’t miss an enjoyable day of shopping and family fun.

Tickets cost £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for seniors and accompanied children 16 and under. Look out for ticket offers on leaflets and in the local press.
