BH Live is delighted to announce that from October 2010, Steve Piper will be joining the Executive Management Team as the new Head of Venues for BH Live.
Steve, who is currently Managing Director at the Brighton Centre, will lead the BH Live Venues Division (currently the Bournemouth International Centre and Pavilion), and be responsible for the overall performance of the venues which will include developing cultural events, conferencing, operations, sales and marketing.
He will be working closely with the Board and Executive Management Team of BH Live and be actively involved in developing town partnerships and representing BH Live on national industry bodies and forums.
Steve has extensive experience of the conference, exhibition and entertainment sectors as well as valuable commercial, programming and operational experience of major venues. Prior to his current role, which he held for twelve years, he spent eleven years at the Brighton Dome Theatre and Arts Complex, five of which as General Manager. Steve spent the early part of his career working in theatre and entertainment.
