Bournemouth International Centre aiming high with new accreditation

BH Live, the leisure and cultural trust which manages and operates the Bournemouth International Centre is pleased to announce that following a rigorous assessment, the award winning conference centre has gained entry level accreditation from AIM in association with the Meetings Industry Association, the nationwide 'kitemark' for accredited venues and service providers in the meetings, conference and events industry.

Endorsed by VisitBritain, which is actively encouraging all venues to become accredited under AIM, the scheme is a recognised national standard for business meeting venues which assesses all areas of operation including legal compliance, code of conduct that insists on openness, decency and ethics.

During the assessment process, the quality of the venue is also reviewed as well as how the organisation drives best practice in terms of quality of product, service delivery and its overall approach to environmental and corporate responsibility issues.

Steve Piper, Head of Venues for BH Live said; “We are delighted that the Bournemouth International Centre has been recognised and successfully accredited under the AIM scheme. Gaining entry level recognition, now enables the Bournemouth International Centre to work towards achieving the AIM Gold accolades alongside our Hospitality Assured Standard for Service and Business Excellence, to clearly demonstrate to conference and event buyers our on going commitment to continually monitor, develop and improve our services to deliver the highest possible standards in conferences, events and exhibitions.”
