BICB Bags Trio of ‘Magical’ New Members

The Bournemouth International Conference Bureau (BICB) has bagged itself three new members in the last month, taking it to a total of 90. The BICB promotes business tourism in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas through offering a free venue locator and delegate reservation service.

The BICB was set up five years ago and works with event organisers to bring national and international events to Bournemouth. Described as Bournemouth’s answer to David Blaine, Kasrani has signed up to the BICB to promote his magical talents. He specialises in table and walk around magic for events, weddings, private parties, business networking, street magic and more. Samuel, known as Kasrani, has appeared on TV, in films and performed in the best night spots.

The BICB have enlisted signmaking company Letters and Logos, who specialise in digital printing, vinyl graphics, internal and external signs, exhibition and display and window graphics. The local company’s clients include the RNLI, Dorset Healthcare, Cambian Education, Southampton City Sports and Leisure Department, and Excelsior Coaches.

Award winning Seeker Photography has also signed up to the BICB’s services. The South Coast based firm offer photographic services for events, PR, product launches, brochure imagery, weddings and portraits. Owner and photographer Steve Cook has worked with Dorset Business on several projects and often takes masterclasses.

Karina Gregory, BICB Manager, said: “To have got these companies on board with the BICB in such quick succession is great. We have a predominantly venue and hotel based membership but increasingly event organisers are looking for quirky suppliers like these to make their events magical! We are growing and continuing to attract a high volume of residential and non-residential business events to the area, which is currently valued at £48m in economic benefit to the town.”
