HMRC Holds Employer Talk at BIC
HM Revenues and Customs (HMRC) is holding its Employer Talk conference and exhibition at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Tuesday 9th September.
With an expected 770 delegates to the morning conference session which commences at 9.30am and 380 in the afternoon session at 13.30pm, the one day event is expected to attract over 1,100 delegates in total. The exhibition is taking place in the purpose-built domed Purbeck Hall, with stands with information on national minimum wage, child maintenance, pensions and more. The exhibition opens at 9.00am and closes at 16.30pm.
Clive Tyers, Head of Conferences, Exhibitions and Events at the BIC said: “We have established a good relationship with HMRC and are pleased to welcome them back to Bournemouth and the BIC. Alongside UKIP, the event marks the start of a busy conference and exhibition season for the BIC.”
Recent statistics value Bournemouth’s business tourism at £127.6m, of which the BIC and Pavilion contribute £73m annually through the conferences and exhibitions staged at the venue. The remaining £54.6m is a result of conferences, events and meetings at other venues in Bournemouth, often facilitated by the Bournemouth International Conference Bureau.
