Spice Up Your ‘Herbalife’!
1,400 delegates will be flocking to Bournemouth to attend the Herbalife conference and exhibition at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom over the next few days. It is the first time that the event has been held in Bournemouth.
The event will open on Friday 7th November at 10.00am in the Pavilion’s Theatre, with the Herbalife International’s President’s team meeting. An expected 400 delegates will take part in the Active World Training Session in the afternoon.
Over 1,000 delegates are expected to attend the weekend sessions; both Saturday 8th November and Sunday 9th November will see the World Team Training Day take place in the morning and continue into the afternoon. There will be an exhibition held in the Pavilion’s Ballroom over the three day event.
Founded in 1980, Herbalife International is the premier wellness company dedicated to simplifying the path to healthy living. The organisation sells weight-loss, nutrition and skin-care products and the aim of this event is to inform distributors of Herbalife products of new information, products and also provide training.
Sarah Stainer, Conference and Exhibitions Manager at the BIC and Pavilion added: “We are pleased to welcome Herbalife to Bournemouth and the Pavilion for the first time. It’s great to see new events at our venues and keep the consistent stream of business tourism coming into the town for all our benefit.”
With an expected 400 delegates over the duration of the event and an additional 1,000 expected over the weekend, the three day conference is estimated to inject just over £500,000 into Bournemouth’s economy through business tourism expenditure. Recent statistics value Bournemouth’s business tourism at £127.6m, of which the BIC and Pavilion contribute £73m annually through the conferences and exhibitions staged at the venue. The remaining £54.6m is a result of conferences, events and meetings at other venues in Bournemouth, often facilitated by the Bournemouth International Conference Bureau (BICB).
