Tuesday 25 June 2013 BIC Windsor Hall
Classical singing sensations - Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli - who shot to fame in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent performing in front of an audience of 14 million, embark on their first nationwide UK tour and it’s coming to the BIC Windsor Hall on 25 June 2013. The tour follows the release of their debut album Together, which shot to Number 5 in the UK last month and, in so doing, became the highest every entry by a classical album into the main album chart. The duo are also returning to TV screens on Friday 2 November in an emotional and revealing documentary chronicling their lives since finding fame on the show. The programme gives an intimate insight into their unique journey and sees Jonathan and Charlotte travel across Europe to meet and perform with some of their idols – including receiving master-classes from Pavarotti’s vocal coach Leone Magiera and also world famous tenor Rolanda Villazon, who describes Jonathan’s voice as ‘absolutely astonishing.’ He goes on to say of the duo’s incredible performance in front of him in Paris: “It was great to hear them live - they're special, they transmit a lot of emotions, and yet they're very natural ... and the young age is something that especially impresses you. I was very happy to work with them.” ROLANDA VILLAZON
