Service Charges

The price of a ticket is set by the event organisers and BH Live does not receive any payment to assist in the costs of running a ticketing service.  BH Live has made a huge investment and commitment to providing a ticketing service to ensure we can sell our own tickets and not rely on ticket agencies.  In order to do so we add a service charge per ticket to cover the cost of operating a contact centre booking service, labour, IT equipment and software development, credit card transaction fees, ticket stock and all other costs associated with running a secure and customer centric ticketing service.

BIC EVENTS
A 13% per ticket service charge will apply to all internet/telephone transactions paying by credit and debit cards and to personal callers for credit cards based on the full price in each price band e.g. for an event that has three price bands of £30.00, £25.00 and £20.00 the service charge will be £3.90, £3.25 and £2.60 per ticket.  We have listened to our customers and understand that on higher priced tickets, service charges can become prohibitive and we will therefore cap all tickets priced at £50.00 and above to a maximum service charge of £6.50.  A minimum service charge of £2.50 applies.

PAVILION EVENTS
A 7.5% per ticket service charge will apply to Internet/telephone transactions paying by credit and debit cards and to personal callers for credit cards based on the full price ticket in each price band, e.g. for an event that has three price bands of £30.00, £25.00 and £20.00 the service charge will be £2.25, £1.88 and £1.50 per ticket.  A minimum service charge of £1.00 applies.
