The annual Bournemouth Art, Craft and Gift Show is set to return to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th November and for the first time it’s free! This year there will be even more arts and crafts, live demonstrations, competitions and workshops for adults and children.
The show is in the Purbeck and Tregonwell Halls with entry via the main BIC entrance on Exeter Road or the cliff top entrance. A wide variety of exhibitors includes gift ideas ranging from jewellery, candles, cards, and Christmas decorations to paintings, photography, puzzles and toys, plus lots more. Free demonstrations and workshop sessions include ‘Wonderful Watercolours’, ‘Easy Acrylics’ and ‘Bob Ross’-style make and take workshops’ will be running for forty five minutes each from 11.00am until 4.45pm.
A children’s activity zone will be set up in the Tregonwell Hall where there‘s sure to be plenty to keep the kids entertained, including Ivo the Clown, ceramic model painting, a colouring area, a Hunt the Reindeer competition and for the first time there will be a new workshop, ‘Papercrafts for Kids’.
Visitors will also get the chance to win family tickets to see this year’s Panto at the Pavilion, Sleeping Beauty starring Malandra Burrows from Emmerdale and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and with Helen Fraser, ‘Body Bag’ from Bad Girls.
