The Pavilion foyer, theatre and ticket office will close for refurbishment from January 8th – February 28th 2007 inclusive.
This exciting project will include refurbishment of all the stalls seats including a revised layout and new carpets and flooring.
The toilets in the foyer are to be completely replaced with the latest modern design, the balcony toilets will be refurbished maintaining all the English Heritage listed features.
The Foyer and part of the East and West corridors will be fully restored including restoration of all the original light fittings, door furniture, new carpets, resurfacing of all Terrazzo flooring along with a new Colour scheme throughout, based on recommendations by RHWL Architects and original archive samples – RHWL’s latest project was the London Coliseum now re-opened with much acclaim.
The main entrance and lobby will also be re-decorated putting the finishing touches to a long awaited welcome makeover.

The Pavilion Theatre re-opens on March 1st 2007 with a new exciting production of a favourite children’s film and TV series – “SCOOBY DOO”
We would like to remind patrons that the Pavilion Ballroom and Lucullus Room remain open during this period and the access to that part of the building will be from the West Terrace Entrance where a temporary ramped entrance will be built.
