The Purbeck Hall is circular and pillar-free in its design and offers complete flexibility of use.  There is no fixed seating or stage.  Contractor access is by roller doors to the North and South elevations, measuring 4.5m high by 4.2m wide. There are various 1xtonne rigging points around the dome of the hall. Floor loading is 10kn/m2
 
SOUND - The House sound system offers a Soundcraft Spirit Folio 12-way mixer, with a mobile sound control to a fixed Bose Speaker system over the main hall areas. The system is designed for speech, but is not considered suitable for singing or loud music.  A seperate Tannoy system, controlled from the Purbeck Foyer desk can be used for announcements to the Purbeck Hall and adjacent areas.
 
LIGHTS - House lighting is by high pressure metal halide floodlights to exhibition standard over the entire hall. Additional tungsten dimmers exist for alternative event use.   Stage lighting is by stand GSX DMX control plus 48 x 2k dimmers, from the mother grid over the centre of the hall.
 
STAGE - Temporary stage area can be built to client specification to a maximum size of 40ft Wide by 32ft Deep; with varying heights of 1ft, 2ft or 1m, with safety railings as required.
