The Solent Hall has no fixed seating or stage, thus providing maximum flexibility for event organisers.
SOUND - A DDA 32 input/8 out desk links to a D&B sound system comprising 3 x Ci 90' Speakers, from a Mother Grid plus single Ci 80' hung from FOH truss.
LIGHTS - There are two main hall lighting systems - one for general and exhibition lighting; one for entertainment mode, offering a fully dimmable option, divideable into 4 zones. Stage lighting comprises 96 x 2k dimmers evenly distributed over 15 amp outlets. Lighting is by Strand GSX on DMX Control.
STAGE - An optimum stage is achieved by 8x4ft steel deck units offering 48ft x 28 ft, on 2ft legs, but this is flexible.
General Guidance - The Solent Hall has a mother Grid plus 3 single lines of truss. The ceiling has nine additional rigging points. The BIC's in-house Technical and Stage teams must be fully consulted in approving final arrangements.
