Technical Information

Sound

A portable D&B sound system comprising 2 x Q10 speakers, 2 x Q-SUBs and a Ci90 hung from the mother grid is available with this space. Audio feeds can be routed to the control rooms in other halls. A Sennheiser Infra-red amplification system is available for the hearing impaired.

Lighting

Stage lighting is a basic generic lighting rig consisting of CP62 Parcans and a selection of fresnels and profiles. Stage lighting control is a MA Lighting Dot2, with 96 x 2000w dimmers evenly distributed over 15 amp outlets. The room has a basic DMX distribution on the mother grid. Tungsten house lighting is fully dimmable and zonable. Metal halide floodlighting is also available for exhibitions.

Stage

The Solent Hall is provided with a standard stage 9.75m x 4.87m (32ft x 16ft) at 0.60m high, which can be expanded for an extra charge to create a space 14.76m X 7.38m (48ft x 28ft).

Production

Our technical team will work with you to build a bespoke, technical package to make sure your event runs to plan. We have a stock of equipment that we can use to create a full production package.

Operational Support

Our technical, stage and operations teams are here to complement your own and it’s important that they work together from the start – and that our team sees and signs off the final arrangements. Full plans and technical specifications are available as PDFs from your Event Coordinator. All rigging must be carried out by NRC certified staff.
