A series of elegant and glamorous evenings featuring the world’s top Professional Ballroom and Latin Dancers.

The United Kingdom Open Dance Festival, including The UK Open Championships, is one of the dance world’s major events and features the highest calibre of dancers, all competing to annex this famous title.

Tuesday - UK Rising Stars

The first day of The United Kingdom Open Dance Festival traditionally hosts all Rising Star events for Amateurs and Professional categories. Qualification rounds take place in the morning, afternoon session, with the evenings hosting the finals, and dancers performing to the music of live band, of The Cre8tive Orchestra.

Wednesday - Day Time

In the Windsor Hall qualification for The Amateur Latin and Professional Ballroom Championships take place.

In the Solent Hall a mixture of Rising Star events for Amateur and Professional dancers are featured.

Wednesday - Evening

The completion of The Amateur Latin and Professional Ballroom Championships are featured, each beginning from the Quarter Final in the Windsor Hall. Twelve couples will be selected to perform in the Semi Final, to be narrowed to six of the worlds best dancers in the Final. All six Grand Finalists will be introduced to the floor individually to perform their introduction dance, as is historic with ‘The UK.’ All competitors will be performing to the music and live band of The Cre8tive Orchestra.

Thursday - Day Time

In the Windsor Hall qualification for The Amateur Ballroom and Professional Latin Championships take place.

In the Solent Hall a mixture of Rising Star events for Amateur and Professional dancers are featured.

Thursday - Evening

The completion of The Amateur Ballroom and Professional Latin Championships are featured, each beginning from the Quarter Final. Friday - Saturday - Sunday

Friday, Saturday and Sunday feature a plethora of events for dancers of all ages and levels in the Ballroom, Latin, Smooth and Rhythm styles. These events are hosted in both the Solent Hall and The Windsor Hall, with Ballroom and Smooth categories taking place in the morning, afternoon, and Latin and Rhythm in the afternoon, evening. Dancers in the Windsor Hall will be performing to the live music of the Len Phillips Swing Orchestra in the majority of semifinals and finals.

Friday - Evening

The UK Showcase will again be featured, taking place in the Solent Hall, after all competitive events have finished. This event, hosts four champions and finalists performing three of their own showcases in the Ballroom and Latin genre. The event is event is free to enter for all Friday ticket holders.
