Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart are set to bring their chart-topping podcast The Rest Is Politics to the Bournemouth International Centre on 9 November, giving Dorset audiences the chance to experience their unmissable mix of sharp analysis, behind-the-scenes stories, and good-humoured debate live on stage.

The BIC, one of the South Coast’s landmark venues, will play host to the show as part of a UK-wide tour that has been selling out theatres across the country.

For local audiences, the event offers a rare opportunity to hear two of the most influential voices in British politics tackle both domestic and international issues, with the trademark candour and wit that has made the podcast a runaway success.

Campbell, best known as Tony Blair’s former Downing Street Director of Communications, and Stewart, a former Conservative MP and Cabinet minister, may come from different political traditions, but together they have built a huge following by championing the art of “disagreeing agreeably.”

Their live shows give audiences the chance to hear insider perspectives on everything from Westminster rivalries to the shifting global order - all with the unpredictability of unscripted audience interaction.

With local and national politics increasingly in the spotlight, the BIC event promises to be especially relevant for South Coast audiences keen to engage in the big conversations shaping the future of Britain and the wider world.

Beyond politics, the show is also making an impact off stage.

The Rest Is Politics has partnered with PLUS1, an organisation committed to supporting charitable causes worldwide.

As part of this tour, The Rest is Politics is donating £1 from every ticket sold to The Twinning Project, an innovative initiative that pairs professional football clubs with prisons to reduce re-offending and help incarcerated individuals build better futures.

Tickets for The Rest is Politics on Sunday 9 November are on sale now from bic.co.uk.
