On the evening of Monday 4 August 2025, emergency services responded to reports of a fire outside the Bournemouth International Centre.

The venue was closed to the public at the time.

BH Live’s team responded quickly, the venue’s emergency response was triggered, and the fire and police services attended.

Thankfully, although the footage and pictures shared on social media were very shocking, the actual damage caused is minimal and confined to a small outdoor area.

The rest of the venue, including its main event spaces, Elevate Brasserie & Bar, the box office, and all other operational areas are completely unaffected.

“We are incredibly grateful to the emergency services and all those involved for their swift response.

“We’re pleased to let everyone know that the venue is open and fully operational as usual. All upcoming events will go ahead as planned and we are liaising with event organisers to provide reassurance.”
